The field of cybersecurity has followed a similar path to that of eDiscovery. Risks of data breaches parallel the risks of spoliation of evidence with both striking fear in the hearts of legal professionals.  In our upcoming Shepherd Speaks, Gregory Duhl , the founder of the Cybersecurity and Privacy  Certificate Program at Mitchell Hamline Law School will help our audience by addressing:

 – Cyber threats during e-discovery
– Obligations of lawyers to protect client information, including client’s electronic data
– Risk mitigation of cyber threats (e.g., obligations of lawyers and e-discovery providers)
– Incident response to cyber threats

About the presenter:  Professor Duhl is the co-editor-in-chief of ABA’s The Business Lawyer. He previously taught at the Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law, the Southern Illinois University School of Law, and the Tulsa University School of Law. Before teaching, he was an intellectual property litigator. Professor Duhl graduated with a B.A. summa cum laude from Yale College, a J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School, and an LL.M. from the Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law.
